C / Projects

Some things
I'm quietly
building.

A few projects, properties, and long-term ideas — some practical, some ambitious, some probably both. Mostly the kind of thing that happens slowly, between everything else.

A note

None of these are presented as institutional developments. They're real projects from someone who likes building things — some of them will work, some of them probably won't, and a couple are still mostly an idea and a piece of land. That's part of why they're here.

Golden Stick — a small destination food concept at Pigeon Lake
P / 01 Future Development Commercial Retail 1 Acre

The Village
at Pigeon Lake.

A future commercial retail development concept near Pigeon Lake, focused on small-scale destination retail, food, gathering spaces, and seasonal community activity. The kind of place you'd actually want to drive out to on a Saturday — not another strip mall with a coffee shop bolted on.

It's still early. Site work and concept design are ongoing, and a lot of it depends on finding the right neighbours and the right operators. More on this as it takes shape.

Stage: Concept · Site planning
P / 02 Future Development 100 Acres Lakefront

Camp
Cowanbunga.

A 100-acre lakefront property and long-term family-and-friends development project. Part retreat, part outdoor playground, part future idea factory.

The kind of place where campfires, bad ideas, good ideas, and future plans all seem to happen at the same time — and where the best ones tend to survive the drive home.

P / 03 Mixed Portfolio Long-term Hold

Commercial &
residential real estate.

A mixed portfolio across commercial, residential, recreational, and rural properties. Long-term value, practical improvement, and a soft spot for overlooked places with character.

Locations: Edmonton, Norris Beach, Bonnyville, Cold Lake, Saskatchewan.

Closing note

More to come. Some of these will work.

Some won't. That's part of it. If something here lines up with what you're working on — a site, an operator, a partnership, or just an idea worth talking through — I'd like to hear about it.
